Violet Daisy

Violet Daisy was less than a week away from launching their new store. A product page redesign with specific customizations was the biggest need for this project.

Instead of the theme product design of one main image with thumbnails, the client wanted a scrolling vertical image gallery next to the product description. This was achieved by manipulating the theme code to convert the thumbails into large images.

The theme that this store was using has a built in feature for creating unique collapsible tabs on the product page. The theme support documentation provided an excellent walkthrough on how to structure the product description to have custom collapsible tabs.

Other theme and product customizations included:

• Integrated an app for using an image for the product color variant
• Coded in a icon for Instagram on the header
• Determined why the side bar menu in the responsive view wasn't displaying and text
• Customized the footer to include a newsletter section and to have more social media icons
