Utah Balloon Creations was needing a redesign of their website to improve brand continuity, improve site layout, and eliminate bugs.
After a discussion with the owner, and searching the Shopify theme library, it was determined that a premium theme was needed instead of a free theme. The homepage was customized with a variety of hero images with text, a custom banner, app integration for Instagram, and removal of built in elements in the header of the page.
Custom coding for three landing pages was required to achieve the desired layout the owner was envisioning. To achieve this, flexbox was used to create a small gallery that linked to other larger galleries for the decor type.
A few of the apps that the store was using were either too expensive per month or experienced technical issues. I was able to locate free apps that had good reviews and easy customization for the owner later on. This saved the store money and resolved any issues major issues on the site.
One of the app integrations was with product variants. Each product contained very specific variants that the theme did not provide easy customization. This free app provided quick and appealing variant options.
